This board was handmade for August. He like the natural wood look on the bottom, so I was limited to drawing on the top.
The Koi are cliché, I know, but the method is Awesome. Paint markers and sharpie markers with Gloss enamel paint under two layers of spray grip (glue+glass shards) really top this off well.
Son of a bitch, this board has an afro.

Getting it done with a longboard for today’s Featured Deck from Neil Lebude (www.neillebude.com). He describes the design as “a Birthday present for my nephew Joey. The graphic is an old engraving of a tsetse fly - one of the most dangerous insects on the planet. It has just the right amount of inconspicuous attitude for a teenager and some summer longboarding.”
